Sulawesi has a total bird count of 350 species, with 4 categories classified: residents 127, endemic 88, migrants 97, and counted as residents or migrants 32. These numbers exclude Sangihe and Talaud, Banggai and Sula islands. Sangihe has 3 endemics, Talaud has 2 endemics, and Banggai has 2 endemics. From the 88 endemic birds of the island, Lore Lindu National Park has the highest number with c. 72, Dumoga Bone 51, and Tangkoko 38 species. Two or three other endemic birds are found in South Sulawesi.

Itinerary
Day 01 : Manado - Tangkoko
Arrival in Manado, meet with your guide then transfer to Tangkoko for check-in a Losmen Mama Rose - simple accommodation. Meeting service and dinner. (D)
Day 02 – 03 : Tangkoko Birding Days
Two full day to explore the birding in the Tangkoko Nature Reserve and here you will be accompanied by bird-watching guide who has sharp eyes to spot the birds and has talent for birding. (BLD)
Day 04: Tangkoko – Dumoga Bone
After breakfast and direct transfer to Domoga Bone then direct drive (6-7 hours) to Dumoga Bone. Lunch enrooted. Later after arrive in Kosinggolan check-in at Tante Mien homestay - simple accomodation and dinner. (BLD).
Day 05: Dumoga Bone Birding
Morning and afternoon birding around Kasinggolan and Torout. (BLD).
Day 06: Dumoga Bone Birding
Early morning drive to Tambun for Maleo Birds and others. Afternoon birding around Tapak Kulintang. Cheek in at Patrajasa Hotel and dinner (BLD)
Day 07: Kotamobagu – Tomohon
Drive a half hour to Danau Moat then birding in the forest to the summit of Gunung Ambang. Lunch at the local restaurant after lunch continue drive around 5 hours to Tomohon. Late afternoon arrive in Tomohon, check-in a Highland Resort and dinner. (BLD)
Day 08: Tomohon and transfer to Bunaken Island
Full day birding around Minahasa highlands includes hike up to volcano mountain and visit Lake Tondano and Lake Linow. Lunch at the lokal restaurant. After lunch transfer to Bunaken Island, check-in a New Daniels Cottage. (BLD)
Day 09: Bunaken Birding
After breakfast full day birding tour will be continued by boat along Siladen and Bunaken Island. After lunch snorkeling trip, you have time to enjoy the most beautiful and colorful coral reef formation as well as thousand species of fish and others marine life. Than back to cottage for dinner and stay overnight. (BLD)
Day 10: Bunaken – Manado City Tour
After breakfast free program until time to transfer to Manado a chek in at Santika Hotel. The week in North Sulawesi will give you inspiration what kind of souvenir will gave you memory that you ever here, your shopping here will be combine with Manado City Tour and close with diner in Kallasey sea food Restaurant. Than back to Hotel Santika for stay overnight.
Day 11: Manado - Next destination
After breakfast and we will transfer you to the airport for your next destination.
