ITINERARY
DAY 01 BALIKPAPAN – LOA JANAN – MUARA MUNTAI
Arrive at BALIKPAPAN and transfer immediately to LOA JANAN to board the houseboat on Mahakam River to MUARA MUNTAI.
Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 02 MUARA MUNTAI – MANCONG – MUARA MUNTAI – MELAK
Early in the morning arrive at MUARA MUNTAI, sightseeing around the village to see the activity of local people. The tour will be continued by motorized canoe to MANCONG (will combine with land transport via TANJUNG ISUY, If the water level not permitted). Upon arrival a welcome ceremony will lead by the Chief of BENUAQ DAYAK’s Tribe and followed by the traditional dances. Afternoon return to MUARA MUNTAI and continue the trip to MELAK. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 03 MELAK – EHENG – KERSIK LUWAI – MELAK – TENGGARONG
Early morning arrive at MELAK. A half day excursion by car to EHENG, to see the TUNJUNG DAYAK’s long house and their activity. Proceed to KERSIK LUWAI to observe the nature forest with its black orchid (blooming time seasonal). Drive back to Melak and cruise down to TENGGARONG. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 04 TENGGARONG – BALIKPAPAN
Arrive at TENGGARONG in the middle of day to visit the Mulawarman Museum the former Royal Palace of Kutai Kingdom. Afterwards transfer to BALIKPAPAN. Accommodation at hotel (dinner is personal account).

DAY 05 HOTEL – AIRPORT
After breakfast, free program until departure to airport for onward flight.
