ITINERARY
DAY 01 BALIKPAPAN – LOA JANAN – MUARA MUNTAI
Transfer to LOA JANAN. Boarding on houseboat, immediately cruise up Mahakam River to MUARA MUNTAI. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 02 MUARA MUNTAI – MANCONG – MUARA MUNTAI – MELAK
Arrival MUARA MUNTAI. Then transfer by motorized canoe to across the vast Jempang Lake for MANCONG by entering a small Ohong river to observe the nature forest (will combine with land transport via TANJUNG ISUY, If the water level not permitted). Once arrive, a welcome ceremony and traditional dances will be held. In the afternoon return to MUARA MUNTAI. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 03 MELAK – KERSIK LUWAI – EHENG – MELAK – TERING
Early morning arrive in MELAK. A half day excursion by car to KERSIK LUWAI – the nature forest of black orchid (blooming time seasonal), proceed to EHENG to see the traditional TUNJUNG DAYAK’s Long House. Return to the houseboat and cruise up to TERING. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 04 TERING – DAYAK BAHAU TRIBE – TENGGARONG
Arrive in TERING, visiting BAHAU DAYAK tribe. Sightseeing the village, and see the Hudoq dance performance – a ritual dance asking for rain and good harvest. Return to houseboat, and downstream to TENGGARONG. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.

DAY 05 TENGGARONG – BALIKPAPAN
Afternoon arrive in TENGGARONG, direct transfer to BALIKPAPAN. Accommodation at hotel (dinner is personal account).

DAY 06 HOTEL – AIRPORT
After breakfast, free program until departure to airport for onward flight.
