KOMODO is situated 200 nautical miles east of Bali between the islands of Flores and Sumbawa. Komodo's symbol of international fame is it's dragons, the world's largest living Lizard. Indonesia declared the area a National Park in 1980, and in 1992 Komodo was declared of land on 4 major and numerous minor islands.

The Komodo Dragon Varanus komodoesis is the largest lizard in the world. Also know as a varanid or monitor lizard, it grows to 2.5 meters in length and round 125 kilos. At the top of the food chain the dragon is an alert and agile predator, worthy of respect.

Their bacteria laden bite is lethal without medical treatment. Their tails are also a powerful and dangerous weapon which can be thrashed with bone breaking force. The regular flicking of their tongues drives their acute sense of smell.

ITINERARY
Days 01 : Bali – Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island (L.D)
Pick up from your hotel in Bali and transfer to the airport, for flight to Labuan Bajo (West Flores) for approximately one and half hours. On arrival in Labuan Bajo to will be welcomed and meet by our local representative and direct transfer to the harbour to catch the local boat cross to Rinca Island. Lunch will serve on boat. On arrival start you’re trekking, walking through to the typical green forest to explore the wild Komodo Dragons and other wild animal (deer, pigs, monkey, buffaloes and kind of birds). A local ranger will be leading you to this nature preservation. Dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 02 : Labuan Bajo – Bidadari - Bali (B)
Breakfast on boat. Proceed to Bidadari Island for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing in unspoiled coral reef and fish. After ward sail back to Labuan Bajo. On arrival direct transfer to the airport for flight to Bali, with stop at Batu Cermin (Mirror Cave). On arrival in Bali, will transfer back to your original hotel.
