Lombok
is interesting not only because it marks
the beginning of transition between Indonesia's
Asia and Australia fauna and flora Zone
- separated by what is known as the Wallace
Line, but even more because of its alluring
culture make-up, in which various elements
are blended.
West
Lombok, Offers a wide range of sights, experiences
and attractions, such as the traditions
and art of bayan tribe, the Hindu temple
of Mayura, Lingsar, narmada and mount Rinjani
with the segara anakan crater lake. |

| In
central lombok, we can still observe the old
sasak traditional and their ancient sites,
nyale beach, handicraft, the traditional textile
of sukarara, traditional house of rambitan
and aik buka.
East
lombok is known for the its fishermen's
village, such as Tnajung luar, the kotaraja
home industri, the bathing pool of Aik kalak,
timbanuh and tete batu on the mountain slope
of Rinjani.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Senggigi – Senaru
After breakfast at the hotel - senggigi,
start to have first day tour to the north
of lombok, visiting; traditional market,
monkey forest, traditional village of senaru,
then check in at the pondok senaru cottage,
have free time. At 3 o’clock in the
afternoon start for the scenery rice terrace
walk, and take bath in natural swimming
pool of Tiu Kelep waterfal. 5 o’clock
return to hotel.
Day
2: Senaru – Sembalun – Sapit
Having breakfast and enjoying the morning
view of the summit of Rinjani Mountain and
start drive again to sembalun Village, along
the way you will have nice scenery of the
rice terrace views. Sembalun is the village
with unique geographic feature on lombok
– high, flat – bottom mountain
valley, virtually surrounded by hill. It
said locally that the people of the area
are directly descended from the Majapahit
dynasty. Today though its lombok garlic
capital. Then we cross the sembalun bumbung
1,600m high hill to get to Sapit, wonderful
small village with great view of rice terraces.
Check in to the Hati Suci cottages for overnight.
Day 3: Sapit – Tete Batu -
Kuta
After breakfast, having morning walk around
the rice terrace.
At 10.00am after lunch, we continue the
trips to Tete Batu to enjoy the view of
the tobacco fields, loyok (the bamboo handicraft).
Then drive to Kuta Lombok, on the way to
senggigi we will visit; traditional sasak
house of Rambitan. check in at Tastura Hotel
and free leisure.
Day 4: Kuta - Senggigi
After breakfast, we go to Kuta and tanjung
A’an Beach; these white sandy beaches
with clear turquoise water are perfect for
swimming and sun bathing. Then return to
senggigi, on the way to senggigi we will
visit sukarara the traditional weaving village,
banyu mulek the pottery village , Summer
palace (Narmada temple) and mayura the floating
house . Arrive in senggigi at 5 o’clock
in the afternoon and check in to the hotel. |
