KOMODO is situated 200 nautical miles east of Bali between the islands of Flores and Sumbawa. Komodo's symbol of international fame is it's dragons, the world's largest living Lizard. Indonesia declared the area a National Park in 1980, and in 1992 Komodo was declared of land on 4 major and numerous minor islands. The Komodo Dragon Varanus komodoesis is the largest lizard in the world. Also know as a varanid or monitor lizard, it grows to 2.5 meters in length and round 125 kilos. At the top of the food chain the dragon is an alert and agile predator, worthy of respect. Their bacteria laden bite is lethal without medical treatment. Their tails are also a powerful and dangerous weapon which can be thrashed with bone breaking force. The regular flicking of their tongues drives their acute sense of smell.

FLORES, a long island located between Sumbawa and Timor, is strewn with volcanoes in a mountain chain dividing it into several regions with distinctive languages and traditions, scenic beauty, good beaches, and natural wonders. The name is Portuguese for "flower", as the Portuguese were the first Europeans to colonize East Nusa Tenggara. Surrounded by 101 smaller islands, the Flores archipelago itself is endless in diversity. It is a dazzling kaleidoscope of prehistoric dragons and wild horses, colored mountain lakes and active volcanoes, traditional villages and megalithic cultures, coral reefs and untouched beaches. Flores is 360 kilometers long and varies from 12 to 70 kilometers wide. Although the rains here are often irregular, the high mountains insure a fairly constant supply of water. Elsewhere the people depend on manioc and corn.

ITINERARY
Days 01: Bali - Maumere - Moni (L-D)
Pick up from your hotel in Bali and transfer to the airport, for flight to Maumere. On arrival in Waioti airport of Maumere, will be welcomed and meet by your tour guide. Lunch will be served at local restaurant, than continue the trip to Moni through of Paga & Wolowaru Village. Arrive in Moni check in at Hidayah Inn or similar for dinner and overnight.

Days 02 : Moni - Kelimutu - Moni - Bajawa (B-L-D)
This trip will start at 04.30 am, drive up to the amazing view of tree colored lake of Kelimutu and enjoy the sunrise. Drive back to the hotel for breakfast, than continue the trip to Ende. Lunch at local restaurant, drive back to Bajawa with stop Nanga Penda to see the Blue Stone. If time is permit your guide will take you to Soa enjoy the hot spring water, than check at Bintang Wisata Hotel or similar for dinner and overnight.

Days 03 : Bajawa - Bena - Ruteng – Labuan Bajo (B-L-D)
After breakfast, first trip to visit Bena the Traditional Village of Bajawa. Than continue the trip to Ruteng, with stop Aimere to see the "ARAK" distillation and fresh pal juice tapping. Lunch will serve at local restaurant. After wards, continue drive to Labuan Bajo with stop at Cancar Spider Rice Filed. On arrival in Labuan Bajo direct check in at Golo Hilltop or similar for dinner and overnight

Days 04 : Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Bidadari (B-L-D)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the harbour catch the traditional wooden boat sail to Rinca Island. On arrival, trekking at Loh Buaya Rinca Island to explore the wild Komodo Dragons and other wild animals and many kind of birds. After trekking sail to Bidadari Island for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing in unspoiled coral reef and many kind of fish. Dinner and overnight on boat.

Days 05 : Bidadari - Labuan Bajo - Mirror Cave - Bali (B)
Breakfast on boat, than sail to Labuan Bajo direct transfer to the airport with stop visiting the huge Batu Cermin (Mirror Cave). Fly back to Bali. On arrival in Bali will transfer back to your original hotel or next destination
